 We only take NATURALLY GAITED horses in for training. The amount of time that each horse is here is based on the individual horse, its gait, and its temperament. No two horses are trained in the same manner. We do whatever it takes to get the horse to be the best it can be. Horses in for training are ridden in traffic, downtown, through water and across bridges. Since the training is left up to the horse and its willingness to learn, we are able to turn out a better horse that way. The training is based TOTALLY on trust, and the horse learns right from the start that we are not going to ask them to do anything that will hurt them. We DO NOT use any harsh training methods, no weighted shoes, no soring, etc. Combined, we have over 60 yrs of experience training horses. When the horse is ready, we will video them and certifiy undersaddle according to RMHA specifications. Horses get the best of care here. The current fee for training is $16.66/day which includes board. Book soon to reserve your spot before prices go up.  We also offer FREE classes to people who purchase foals in utero. Foal class is every Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. Everybody gets a chance to work with their babies, once they are born. We teach them to lead, work with bubble wrap and tarps, ball, and have a toy box of other "scary" horse items. |
